Wings, Wags, and a Friend for the Journey

Every rescue journey is a little easier when you have a friend by your side.

We completed an inspiring two-day mission that carried 17 deserving dogs one step closer to the loving homes they deserved. While the miles were long and the days were full, the sight of wagging tails and excited wiggles inside the crates reminded everyone involved exactly why these missions matter.

The rescue flight covered an impressive 3,442 miles and connected communities across four states, with stops in Fairfield, New Jersey, Dallas, Texas, Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Laconia, New Hampshire. Volunteer pilots Vas Rajan and Stephen Nur dedicated their time, skill, and compassion to ensuring each dog arrived safely at the next chapter of their journey.

For these 17 pups, the flight represented much more than transportation. It marked the end of uncertainty and the beginning of hope. Each mile flown brought them closer to warm beds, caring families, and the chance to experience the love every animal deserves.

This life-changing mission would not have been possible without the incredible support of our rescue partners. Together, we helped create brighter futures for 17 deserving dogs.

As this mission came to a close, 17 tails wagged a little brighter, 17 futures looked a little more promising, and 17 dogs moved one step closer to finding the forever homes waiting for them.
