Tito’s Vodka for Dogs Freedom Flight Brings 14 Rescue Pups One Step Closer to Home

In celebration of National Rescue Dog Day, 14 deserving dogs embarked on a life-changing journey thanks to the generous support of Tito’s Handmade Vodka and their beloved Tito’s Vodka for Dogs program.

The special rescue flight carried dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, each leaving behind uncertainty in exchange for the promise of a brighter future. From playful puppies to gentle senior companions, every passenger aboard the flight had a unique story and a second chance waiting at the end of the runway.

As the aircraft arrived, a welcoming group of supporters gathered with smiles and a heartfelt "welcome home" sign. Some of the dogs stepped confidently from their crates with wagging tails and eager kisses, while others took a little extra encouragement as they adjusted to their new surroundings. No matter how they arrived, each dog had officially begun the next chapter of their life.

The mission covered 765 miles and included stops in Fairfield, New Jersey, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and Hampton Bays, New York. Pilots Vikingur Thorsteinsson and Stephen Nur safely transported all 14 dogs to their destination, where they were welcomed into temporary care and prepared for adoption.

This mission was made possible through the incredible partnership and compassion of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Their ongoing commitment to animal welfare continues to create life-changing opportunities for rescue animals across the country. Because of their support, 14 dogs were given the chance to leave uncertainty behind and begin their journey toward loving forever homes.
