The First Journey with Big Dog Ranch Rescue Led Fifteen Beagles Home

Some missions leave an imprint on your heart forever, and this was one of them.

We were honored to complete our very first mission with Big Dog Ranch Rescue, helping relocate 15 innocent beagles who had spent their lives in captivity. Just hours after the announcement that the Ridglan Farms breeding and research facility had permanently closed, these resilient dogs began the next chapter of their lives.

For the second time, our team took to the skies to help former laboratory beagles find the freedom they had always deserved. Their destination was NYC Second Chance Rescue, where they would begin healing, discovering love, and finally experiencing life beyond the walls of a laboratory.

Every beagle carried a different story. Some were timid as they stepped into an unfamiliar world. Others embraced their newfound freedom with quiet curiosity. One of the most unforgettable moments came when a gentle beagle reached through his cone to comfort his friend, touching snout to snout. Even after everything they had endured, their ability to love and care for one another had never been taken away.

Watching our aircraft lift into the sky was about so much more than transportation. It represented hope, healing, and the promise of a future where these dogs would never again be known as laboratory numbers. They were survivors. They were cherished. And they were finally safe.

This extraordinary mission was made possible because of incredible partnerships and unwavering generosity. We are deeply grateful to Big Dog Ranch Rescue for trusting us with this meaningful mission. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to NYC Second Chance Rescue for opening their hearts, welcoming these deserving beagles with compassion, and giving them the opportunity to begin the lives they had always deserved.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our Board Member, Victor Girgenti, who generously flew his own aircraft while our Kodiak 100 underwent annual maintenance. We are equally thankful to our corporate partner, Modern Aviation, whose support helped make this life-changing journey possible.

Together, we gave fifteen deserving beagles the chance to leave their past behind and begin the beautiful lives they were always meant to have.
