Ohana Means No One Gets Left Behind

Some friendships are meant to last forever, and for two puppy pals named Lilo and Stitch, their journey to a brighter future was one they shared together.

On this special Freedom Flight, 15 deserving dogs traveled 1,648 miles through New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, and New York, each one taking an important step toward finding a loving forever home. Among them were Lilo and Stitch, two puppies whose story served as a reminder that every animal deserves the chance to belong.

Animals arrive at shelters for many different reasons. Some are found as strays, some have been abandoned, and others come into rescue when their families are no longer able to care for them. No matter their past, each one deserves hope, compassion, and the opportunity to begin again.

Every Freedom Flight gave animals another chance at the life they deserved, ensuring that no one was left behind or forgotten. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, supporters, and rescue partners, these 15 dogs were one step closer to the loving families waiting for them.

We are grateful to Newberry County Humane Society and SPCA Westchester for trusting us to be part of this life-changing journey. Their commitment to giving animals a second chance made this mission possible, and we are honored to work alongside organizations that share our passion for helping every animal find the loving family they deserve.
