Mission FiFi: Homebound for the Holidays

Missions get FiFi home for the holidays.
FiFi’s entire life had been a cycle of loving with her whole heart, only to be let go again.

She was adopted as a tiny puppy, then discarded just one year later.
A second family kept her for three years, and FiFi finally believed she had found her forever. But when a new baby arrived, and with another on the way, she was surrendered again.

Their reason?
“FiFi takes too much time.”

This gentle, loyal girl did nothing wrong. She simply needed someone to keep her, and no one ever has.

With the help of our partners at Modern Aviation, that changed.

FiFi is one of 27 dogs that boarded our Home for the Holidays Rescue Mission as part of our Giving Tuesday effort to bring 200 dogs home for the holidays.

We are deeply grateful to all of the incredible rescue partners who came together to support this mission: Anything’s Pawsible Rescue, Everglades Animal Coalition, Darbster, Toby’s Dream Dog Rescue, Unleashed Superheroes, and Live and Let Live Farm’s Rescue & Sanctuary. Every one of you plays a vital role in giving dogs like FiFi a second chance.

She flew north to Connecticut, where she finally has a real chance: a loving family, a safe home, and a future where she will never be abandoned again.

After everything she survived, FiFi earned her happily ever after, and this mission was her ticket there.
