Homeward Bound: A Sky Full of Second Chances
Another amazing rescue mission sponsored by BISSELL Pet Foundation took off from Birmingham, Alabama and touched down in Manassas, Virginia, carrying 27 animals, 15 cats and 12 dogs, from Greater Birmingham Humane Society to their next chapters at Charles County Animal Care Center, Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, and Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.
From shy kittens to gentle pups like Esmerelda, Larry, and little Wednesday, each animal on board moved one step closer to a forever home. Every rescue transport represents countless hours of teamwork, care, and compassion—proof of what can happen when people come together for animals in need.
