From Wings to Wheels: Two Missions, Dozens of Second Chances

Another life-saving mission, and this one needed both wings and wheels.

With 34 dogs needing urgent transport from Chesterfield County Animal Services, we launched a two-part rescue: 13 pups flew north with our crew Michael S, Daniel, Kate, and Kevin, while the remaining 21 traveled by van with Albert and Chris, covering the journey from South Carolina to New York.

Among the rescued were Butter and Scotch, two shy pups found abandoned in the woods with their pregnant mother. Thanks to a compassionate shelter staffer and rescue partners like Jersey Girls Animal Rescue and Mostly Mutts, their story did not end on that dirt road; it began anew.

These animals were placed in the care of incredible rescue organizations, including All Mutts Matter, Genesis Pit Bull Rescue, Greyhound Friends of NJ, Heaven Sent Animal Rescue, Jersey Girls Animal Rescue, Mountain Rottie Rescue, A New Chance Animal Rescue, BARRK Animal Rescue, Happy Life Animal Rescue, and SNARR Northeast, where they awaited their forever families.
