From Horror to Hope: 37 Dogs Fly Free
This past weekend, 19 dogs escaped neglect, overcrowding, and even the risk of giving birth in concrete kennels — trading fear for freedom aboard Big Paw.
Thanks to the SE Coast SC Rescue Collaboration, our incredible pilots Stephen Nur and Michael Schneider, the Hangar Sisters, and the dedication of so many volunteers, these pups were safely transported to rescue partners in the Northeast like Eleventh Hour Rescue, Freedom First Rescue, Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, and PupStarz Rescue.
Local news outlets — WPDE ABC15, WMBF News, and Live 5 News — helped shine a light on the urgent need for transport rescue, amplifying these dogs’ chances of finding forever families.
Missions like this were only possible because of YOU. Every donation, every share, and every show of support fueled the journey from suffering to safety. Together, we proved that rescue really does take a village.
