Felix had been found wandering alone, a tiny piglet in a place he did not belong. There was no fence, no protection, and no sign of where he had come from. His story pointed to a difficult truth: he had likely come from a breeding operation where animals like him were raised for slaughter. Somehow, Felix had slipped through, escaping a future that had already been decided for him.

On his own, he would not have survived for long. But someone saw him and chose to help.

From that moment, everything changed. Felix was taken in by a foster who gave him the safety and care he had never known. With time, a plan came together to carry him even further from his past. When the moment arrived, our team stepped in to help complete his journey.

Felix boarded a rescue flight that would take him toward a life he had never experienced before. He arrived at Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary, where his future was no longer uncertain but filled with freedom, compassion, and care.

Felix’s story was one of quiet resilience and the power of kindness. Because someone stopped, because people came together, and because this community continues to support our mission, his life was forever changed.
