Carried by Wings, Guided by Love
Big Paw completed a round trip from Chicago to Knoxville, carrying 22 dogs from White County Animal Control and delivering them into the arms of their next chapter.
Among the precious passengers was Halo, a sweet, deaf dog whose quiet bravery touched every heart on the ramp, along with nine tiny seven-pound puppies, gentle giants, and so many beautiful souls in between. Each crate held a story of resilience, and each landing carried the promise of something better.
These dogs were welcomed by our incredible rescue partners, Jersey Girls Animal Rescue, Peyton’s Safe Haven, and Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch, who stood ready to open their doors and their hearts.
This mission was made possible by our devoted volunteer pilots, Jason and Viking, by the hardworking shelter staff, and by the many rescuers working quietly behind the scenes. Every phone call, every crate prepared, and every hand that helped move one dog closer to safety mattered more than words can express.
Big Paw remained in the air, carrying hope from one community to another. Every takeoff was fueled by donations, by shared stories, and by the belief that these dogs deserved more than the circumstances they were born into.
More flights were already in motion, more lives were waiting, and because of this mission, twenty-two dogs had already begun the journey toward the families they were always meant to find.
