Big Paw’s Return: A Flight Filled With Hope
This mission demonstrated exactly what generous support made possible. Our rescue plane, Big Paw, came roaring out of maintenance and immediately returned to the skies, transporting 30 vulnerable animals from overcrowded shelters in South Carolina to rescues in the Northeast. It was a powerful reminder of how every contribution helps bring animals one step closer to safety.
On board were 23 dogs and 7 cats, each with a story that deserved a second chance. Among them was Sadie, who had spent two years waiting in a shelter, and Dennis, who had been rescued after being found with a glass bowl stuck on his head. Their quiet resilience and hopeful eyes made this mission especially meaningful.
