Arcus’ Flight to Hope: From Unimaginable Neglect to a New Beginning
Meet Arcus, the last survivor of his litter, finally getting his second chance at life.
When rescuers from FAUNA – Friends All United for Natchitoches Animals arrived at the property where Arcus and his siblings were found, they walked into a nightmare. One dog had already died on a chain. Eight starving puppies were trapped in a zip-tied pen with no food, no water, and no shade, all during a week of extreme, life-threatening heat. It was a heartbreaking scene that no animal should ever endure.
Thanks to FAUNA’s swift action, seven of the puppies have already found loving homes. And today, Arcus, the final member of the litter, is on his way to a brighter future with Pilots To The Rescue. His before-and-after transformation is nothing short of incredible.
Our team transported Arcus and 16 other animals from Louisiana to New York, where they were welcomed with open arms by our partners at the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc.
