A Year Begins with Compassion in Motion

The first mission of 2026 took flight with hearts full of hope and a plane full of second chances.

Pilots Stephen Nur and Logan Burtt safely transported 27 dogs and 21 cats from South Carolina to new beginnings across the Northeast in partnership with Seuk’s Army. This lifesaving journey continued a shared legacy rooted in love, collaboration, and the belief that every animal deserves a chance to be safe and cherished.

From tiny kittens tucked into cozy carriers to senior dogs who had waited far too long, each animal boarded the plane in Spartanburg carrying uncertainty and landed closer to the homes they were meant to find. This mission was made possible through the dedication of incredible rescue partners, including A Good Dog Rescue, SNARR Northeast, Hurley’s Heart Bulldog Rescue, Live and Let Live Farm, Ziva Dog Rescue, Precious Pound Pups, The Mr. Mo Project, and others who opened their arms and hearts.

Among those onboard were Bluey, a gentle fifty pound pup whose kind eyes spoke of resilience, Nyla who found safety with Ziva Dog Rescue, twenty one cats ready to begin again, and eight wiggly puppies headed straight toward loving arms. Each life represented a story rewritten and a future reclaimed.

This mission marked just the beginning of what the year would hold. None of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of our community, our partners, and everyone who believes in moving compassion into action.

As 2026 began, hope was already in the air, carried on wings and guided by hearts determined to make a difference.
