A Journey with Purpose: Drey’s First Steps Toward Guiding the Way
There are moments in this work that stay with you, the kind that gently remind you why every mile matters. This transport was one of those moments.
Our Pilots took to the skies on a mission that carried more than just a passenger. Along for the journey was Drey, a 12-week-old Labrador puppy with a very special future ahead of him. Drey was being transported on behalf of Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where he would begin his path toward becoming a guide dog.
From the very start, Drey brought a sense of calm joy to everyone he met. His soft eyes and curious spirit made it easy to pause and smile, even in the middle of a busy travel day. It was clear that while he was still small, his purpose was already something big.
This journey marked just the beginning of his training, a process that would take time, patience, and dedication. One day, Drey would be matched with someone who would rely on him not just for guidance, but for independence and companionship. Every step he took now was building toward that future.
It was an honor to play a small part in Drey’s story. Transports like this are more than just flights. They are connections between people, purpose, and possibility.
