A Journey of Hope Across the East Coast

Every successful transport is made possible through teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to giving animals a brighter future. This mission, our South Carolina Van, driven by Mike Bertini and Fred Martin, met with shelter partners in Greenville, South Carolina, before beginning the overnight journey to Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Early the next morning, our New Jersey Van, driven by Stephen Nur and Peter Crane, met the South Carolina team to complete the final leg of the mission. Together, these incredible volunteers safely transported 22 dogs and 8 cats toward the next chapter of their lives, where loving homes and brighter futures awaited.

Long overnight drives, careful coordination, and seamless teamwork made this mission possible. Every mile traveled represented another step away from uncertainty and one step closer to safety, comfort, and the chance for a fresh start.

We were grateful to our dedicated partners whose compassion and commitment helped make this rescue possible: Dog Squad, Everglades Animal Coalition, Marion Animal Resource Connection, Darbster, Rancho Relaxo, and Toby’s Dream Dog. Their continued partnership allowed these deserving animals to begin new journeys filled with hope.

Together, we continued proving that when compassionate people worked together, lives were changed, one transport at a time.
