Sumo is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix currently on the euthanasia list at the Maricopa County Shelter, scheduled for 03/01/26. We are urgently trying to save him. We have already been in contact with a local rescue that has agreed to pull Sumo from the shelter, we just need to secure the right transport to make this rescue possible. If we can find transport in time, Sumo will have a safe place to go and a real chance at a new life.
