Hello Rescue Partners, we are reaching out with an urgent plea for a young dog named Leo, currently located in Blue Springs, Missouri, who needs placement by March 17. Leo is a young, neutered male mixed-breed who is sweet, friendly, affectionate, and full of energy. He is a healthy dog who simply needs a stable home with people who have the time and space to give him the life he deserves. His current family has many children, one of whom is autistic, and they are unable to continue to care for him. Leo has had a difficult start. He was born a stray and has already been through several homes. He will be euthanized if he is not pulled by a rescue or safely transported to ours in Florida. Our rescue, Fur and Tails Animal Rescue (Fort Myers, FL), is currently beyond capacity and located far from Leo’s area, so we are urgently seeking rescue transport assistance. Leo truly deserves a chance at stability and love. He is good with other dogs and kids, and he needs the right opportunity.
