Jeremiah's Orphaned Cats

Goleta, CA   ✈   Coral Gables, FL

Expires in 7 days... Act Now

We are desperately seeking help transporting 3 cats from Santa Barbara, CA, to Miami, FL, next week. On May 4, 2026, a young man named Jeremiah was tragically killed in a horrific car accident on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles. He had recently moved to California for a new job and was just beginning to build his life there. While he did not yet have a large community around him, he had his beloved animals, who were his entire world. Jeremiah left behind 3 cats and 2 dogs who are currently safe in foster care in Santa Barbara. His elderly mother in Miami is grieving the unimaginable loss of her son and is hoping to take in his 3 cats so she can keep a living connection to him close to her heart. Due to her age, health, and housing situation, she is unable to take the dogs, but she is opening her home and heart to the cats he loved so deeply. We are urgently looking for pilots, rescue flight networks, volunteer transporters, or any safe transport options to help get these cats home to Miami. This is more than a transport request. This is a grieving mother trying to hold onto a piece of her son.
