Beautiful, loving Van Gogh is at risk of euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter in the south. He desperately needs a ride to safety where he would easily be scooped up by a single individual or adult family who could give him the forever home he needs. He is a well trained, friendly guy that should be easily adopted, already up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm treatment, and flea and tick treatments year-round. Neutered. Loves other dogs of all sizes and has lived with a Chiweenie and lemon pointer in the past. Enjoys going to the dog park and to horse shows, loves hiking, and camping. Prefers cooler climate. He has commitment on both ends from respected rescues and a substantial social history for any potential adopter to review. He should find a home easily in the right setting, and this would save his life. He is being managed by two well respected rescues who wanted to assist but simply could not find fosters in time, but found a rescue who could receive him in an attempt to save his life.
