**URGENT** JONES NEEDS TO ESCAPE SHELTER AND HEAD FOR THE SMOKIES

Jones is a puppy at risk of euthanasia at a high kill shelter located in Duplin County, NC.  He must leave the shelter by 5pm EST tomorrow, 2/28.  He was adopted from this shelter back in August 2023 at 8 weeks old, but was returned because his current owners "no longer have the time for him."  Jones has a rescue willing to save him (Pup-n-Purr), but they are located in Asheville, NC and we need help getting him from Duplin County to Asheville.  He is a very friendly dog and up-to-date on all vaccines.  He is being neutered today, 2/27 and will be ready to leave on 2/28.  He will need to wear his cone during transport.
