I need help. My close friend from high school, David (56), is very sick and on dialysis every three days. He has always been an animal lover and has been incredibly lonely since losing his dog over a year ago.

David and his adopted son, Jojo, have fallen in love with a black lab mix named Rocky, who has spent his entire life in a boarding facility. His two sisters were adopted, but Rocky is still waiting for his forever home. David wants to save Rocky as much as Rocky could save him.

We can’t afford a commercial flight to get Rocky to David in Portland, Maine, so I’m reaching out for help. David can care for a dog, has always trained his dogs beautifully, and truly needs the companionship. I’m willing to drive to Bullhead, San Diego, Las Vegas, or any reasonable area to get Rocky on a flight.
